Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the ship
Not a creature was stirring, not even a tribble.
The stockings were hung by the warp core with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
The crew was nestled all snug in their beds,
Except for a few, who couldn't forget.
And Captain with her wine, and I with a beer,
Had just settled our brains for the new lunar year.
When on top of the ship there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the couch to see what was the matter.
Away to the door I flew like a midge,
Went up with the lift to the now silent bridge.
I accessed the external sensors, to find what it was
Even though the sounds had momentarily paused.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer.
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the edge of the galaxy! With no more forestall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the stars the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the deck
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
The sparkles left and Nicolas set down,
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.
His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he flew out of sight,
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

I want to wish everybody a very Happy Christmas and Merry Newyear. May your days be filled with laughter and joy. Have happy moments with your family and loved ones and please be careful with fireworks.
As Christmas is a time of giving I made something for you. As some will soon have too many awards to display on their signature I made a signature image for you. Obvious I couldn't make one for the new players on our sim, but I will update them after each new round of awards is handed out, and put them in this thread for reference.
Please use the following coding in your signature for it to work correctly:
Some rules/tips to make it work:

And one last thing. Here is the full coding I use for my signature. Feel free to use it and change it to fit your character. The colour we use per department can be found in the Posting Guideline thread.
Note: This forum doesn't have a break (/br) code or recouldnise one. So use an 'normal' enter for a new line.

Some rules/tips to make it work:
- Change Tim.png in the coding for the filename after your image. (Probably your characters name followed by.png)
- Leave capitals where they are, don't change them to normal size letters.
- Don't host them on your own way. This because if I need to add new awards, I'm not changing the filename, but upload the new version to replace the old one. The new image will then automatic appear in your sig, without any actions. If you host it on your own way you need to upload a new version manually, and I don't plan on sending everyone a new version each time.
