There's been a couple recent shakeups in Obsidian Fleet lately, which has resulted in a little bit of musical chairs among the brass.
Commodore Lirha Saalm, the Task Group Commanding Officer of Task Group 72A (of which the USS Portland is a member), has been promoted to Rear Admiral and given the position of Task Force Commanding Officer for TF21. Lirha was a great TGCO to work with, and we wish her the best of luck in her new position.
Of course, this has created an opening for a TGCO in 72A, and I've accepted the role on an interim (and maybe permanent?) basis.
I don't anticipate a whole lot changing on the USS Portland, but this means that we're now the flagship of TG72A. So, lets set a good example and show people how it's done!
